Age Limit: Between 18 and 25 years of age (Relaxable for Govt servant upto 40 years in accordance with order/instructions issued by the Central Govt).

Scale of Pay:

MTS / Washerman / Mess Waiter / Masalchi -> PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1800/-

Cook / Cook Special / Mess Cook / MTS Messenger -> PB-1 ₹ 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay ₹ 1900/-

Place of Posting: The posts are presently located at Delhi, Ferozpur, Srinagar, Phyang, Ramban/Banihal, Jammu, Pang. However all the posts carry All India Service liability & selected individuals are liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Educational Qualifications:

MTS (Safaiwala) ->

(a) Essential – Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board.
(b) Desirable – Conversant with the duties of the respective trades with one year’s experience in the trade.

Washerman ->

(a) Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognized Board.
(b) Must be able to the wash military/ Civilian cloths.

Mess Waiter ->

(a) Essential – Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board.
(b) Desirable – 01 year experience in the trade.

Masalchi ->

(1) Essential – Matriculation pass or equivalent from recognised Board (and)
(2)Should be conversant with the duties of Masalchi.

Cook / Mess Cook / MTS Messenger ->

(1) Matriculation or equivalent; (AND)
(2) Must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test. The written test & Practical would be held at Delhi Cantt-10. Candidates should come prepared to stay for two-three days for completion of the recruitment process. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for boarding / lodging during the period of stay. No TA/DA would be paid to Candidates called for the examination

Scheme of Examination: A written test will be held which will have questions of the level of Class 10th. Candidates appearing for written test would also be subjected to Practical examination whenever applicable.
